Christmas Comes This Time Each Year

I’ve got some pining, some harmonizing, some pleading, and some burning for you today. It seems things have picked up here—the map is exploding with red dots with visitors from around the world. It’s like chicken pox, except much less uncomfortable. And our hit tally is going crazy. Maybe we can cross the 100,000 mark this year? Not bad for a couple of hillbillies who like Christmas.

Little Saint Nick – The Beach Boys
Here is something actually from the 60’s that’s great. PC pointed out that this has perhaps the most obvious Beach Boys line of all time: “Christmas comes this time each year.” I agree with PC, but we both think that this song kicks.

Come On Santa – The Raveonettes
Another retro sounding modern band. This is off their Christmas EP, which would be a great stocking stuffer for the hipster in your family.

Christmas Tree’s On Fire – Holly Golightly
Make sure you water your trees people. And don’t just throw your trash out the window. Put the trash in the garbage can, I can’t stress that enough.
